JAKARTA - PT PP Presisi Tbk (PPRE) managed to record a net profit of Rp 326.42 billion in 2018, up 73.35% from Rp 188.30 billion in 2017.
In addition, PPRE's revenue also increased 68% from Rp 1.82 trillion in 2017 to Rp 3.05 trillion in 2018. The increase in revenue was sustained by construction revenue which rose 75.86% to Rp 2.48 trillion, rental income equipment that rose 58.93% to Rp 382.54 billion, and ready mix revenue which rose 13.47% to Rp 185.35 billion.
"The focus of PPRE during 2018, in addition to completing strategic infrastructure projects, was also to increase profitability reflected in the increase in operating margins from 21% to 22% and net margin from 10% to 11%, and ROA from 4% to 5% and ROE from 9% to 14%," PPRE Finance Director Benny Pidakso said as quoted by Kontan.co.id, Thursday (14/3).
This year PPRE will encourage organic growth through its subsidiary, PT Lancarjaya Mandiri Abadi, to develop its mining business. The company will also encourage inorganic growth through the acquisition of potential companies. (MS)
