JAKARTA. PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) or Pelindo II, allocated capital expenditure (Capex) of Rp. 11 trillion this year to expand its business.

Prasetyadi, Director of Operations of Pelindo II, said that one of the projects that will use the capex is the construction of Kijing Port, in Mempawah, West Kalimantan. Pelindo II predicts that the construction of this port requires a budget of Rp 5.2 trillion.

In addition, Pelindo II will use Rp 3.2 trillion for the construction of the Inland Waterways terminal project in Cikarang, Bekasi, while the rest will be used for digital integration of Pelindo II's operations.

"Later, there will be a price so that you can choose which one is cheap," Prasetyadi said as quoted by Kontan on Tuesday (19/3). (KR/AR)
