JAKARTA - PT Mahkota Group Tbk (MGRO) gained Rp 84.17 billion in profit in 2018, 388% higher than the record in 2017 (Rp 17.24 billion), mainly due to the increase in its revenue.
Based on the company's financial statements, the company's revenue was recorded at Rp 2 trillion, grew by 13.56% from Rp 1.76 trillion gained in 2017. Its gross profit was recorded at Rp 260.72 billion, rose from Rp 159.90 billion in 2017. The company's profit before tax was recorded at Rp 106.69 billion, soared from Rp 25.20 billion in 2017. Finally, its tax expenses was recorded at Rp 22.56 billion, rose from Rp 7.95 billion.
The largest contributor to the company's revenue was the crude palm oil (CPO) (Rp 1.51 trillion), followed by palm kernel (Rp 355.58 billion), tank rental income (Rp 68.12 billion), shell (Rp 56.87 billion), management fee (Rp 800 million), and others (Rp 5.60 billion). (LK/AR)
