JAKARTA. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Agroniaga Tbk (AGRO) distributed Rp 40.08 billion of dividends, 20% of the company's net profit for the 2018 fiscal year.
Agus Noorsanto, President Director of AGRO, said that the value of dividends given to shareholders was Rp 1.9 per share. He admitted that the value of dividends was not much. “Because we are a small company,” said Noorsanto on Thursday (28/3) to idnfinancials.com.
AGRO’s net profit for 2018 was Rp 204,2 billion. This showed a 45.34% growth from the company's profit in the previous year, which was recorded at Rp 140.5 billion. In their annual financial report, AGRO’s Earning Per Share (EPS) was recorded to grow by 23.67% from 8.49 in 2017 to 10.50 in 2018.
Noorsanto stated that AGRO had not yet determined the Cum Date for dividend distribution. “Not yet decided,” Noorsanto said. (KR/AR)
