JAKARTA - In 2018, the revenue of PT Trada Alam Minera Tbk (TRAM) grew by 573.53%, from Rp 517.23 billion to Rp 3.38 trillion in 2018. This was followed by a massive increase in the company's profit for the year, from Rp 3.90 billion to Rp 228.60 billion.
Based on the company's financial statements, the massive revenue growth was mainly due to the increase of the revenue of all the company's business segment, including coal sales (Rp 2.34 trillion in 2018, Rp 186.95 billion in 2017), mining services (Rp 828.86 billion in 2018, Rp 39.57 billion in 2017), and rental of heavy equipments (Rp 21.74 billion in 2018, Rp 1.09 billion in 2017).
The largest portion of the revenue came from PT Berau Coal Energy Tbk (23%), followed by PT Anggung Makmur Energy (15%), Alfa Energi Investama (14%), and Glencore International AG (13%). (LK/AR)
