Delta Djakarta profit hikes 22% to Rp 338.07 billion

JAKARTA. PT Delta Djakarta Tbk's (DLTA) profit hiked 22% to Rp 338.07 billion in 2018 from Rp 276.36 billion in 2017 in line with the growth of domestic and export market sales.

Based on the company's financial statements, the net profit increase was in line with the company's revenues which grew 15% to Rp 893 billion from Rp 777.31 billion in the previous year.

In details, the biggest domestic sales recorded by the company (after customs and sales tax) were Rp 1 trillion, up from Rp 870.40 billion in the previous year. Export sales also increased to Rp 3.37 billion from Rp 1.69 billion in the previous year.

Overall, DLTA posted net sales of Rp 893 billion throughout last year.

DLTA's headquarters and factory are located on Inspeksi Tarum Barat St, East Bekasi, West Java. DLTA produces and sells pilsner and stout branded as Anker, Anker Stout, Anker Lychee, Carlsberg, San Miguel, San Mig Light, San Miguel Cerveza Negra, Kuda Putih, and Batavia.

As of December 2018, the company's shareholders are San Miguel Malaysia (58.33%), the Jakarta Municipal Government (23.34%), and public investors (18.33%).

The company's parent entity is Top Frontier Investment Holdings, Inc, which is also based in the Philippines. (AM/MS)
