JAKARTA. PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL) pocketed a net profit of US$ 84.5 million in 2018, growing 24.2% from US$ 68.03 million in 2017.
Based on the company's financial statements published on Friday (29/3), SRIL's profit increase was driven by the company's positive performance last year, in which SRIL recorded a 36.1% sales increase to US$ 1.03 billion from US$ 759 million in 2017.
SRIL's cost of goods sold also hiked 24.6% to US$ 15.6 million from US$ 12.5 million in 2017. The increase was due to hikes in general and administration cost and currency differences last year.
Thanks to this positive performance, SRIL's asset value increased 14.4% to US$ 1.36 billion from US$ 1.19 billion in 2017. (AM/MS)
