Lion Air launches Samarinda to Yogyakarta flight route

SAMARINDA - On April 5, Lion Air (JT flight code) member of Lion Air Group inaugurated its first flight, the new non-stop route from Samarinda to Yogyakarta (PP) with a frequency of once a day.

Lion Air flight number JT-869 takes off on time from Aji Pangerang Tumenggung Pranoto International Airport, Samarinda, East Kalimantan (AAP) at 11.50 WITA and lands perfectly at Adisutjipto International Airport, Yogyakarta (JOG) at 12:35 p.m. WIB.

For the opposite route, Lion Air number JT-868 departs on time from Yogyakarta at 13.10 WIB and has a scheduled arrival at 16.00 WITA in Samarinda.

On the first flight yesterday, Lion Air operated the latest aircraft Boeing 737-900ER PK-LPY registration. In attracting interest in traveling to Yogyakarta and Samarinda, Lion Air offers a flying experience with a fleet of Boeing 737-800NG (189 economy class seats) and Boeing 737-900ER (215 economy class seats).

The Samarinda route to Jogja has a target load factor ranging from 70%-80%, which expected to offer more value for travelers in traveling. Passengers from various cities can stop first (transit) or by spending time in Jogja, then can continue the trip to Samarinda. (LM)
