JAKARTA - Mobilkamu has raised Series A funding from investors East Ventures and Genesia Ventures. The startup said the fresh funds would be used for its e-commerce business-focused expansion.

According to Mobilkamu co-founder and CEO Wilton Halim, the funding will help Mobilkamu achieve its goal to be Indonesia’s best new car purchase platform and expand its reach.

“That’s what we do with Mobilkamu, from reshaping the future of new car financing to creating a fair and efficient car market for all groups of people,” said Mr Halim in an official statement, Thursday (11/4).

East Ventures partner Melisa Irene added that Mobilkamu uses exclusive technology to provide customers with good car purchasing experience without having to visit showrooms.

“This solution also provides a great added value to car sales agents, financing companies, and car dealers to operate more efficiently and thus make the prices of cars more affordable,” said Ms Irene. (MS)
