JAKARTA - Fore Coffee has increased its Series A funding round by US$ 1 million, bringing the total funds raised to US$ 9.5 million.
In January 2019 the startup had announced raising US$ 8.5 million in Series A funding led by East Ventures. Other investors participating in the round include SMDV, Pavilion Capital, and Agaeti Venture Capital.
Fore Coffee allows users to order coffee through its mobile app, which can then be picked up at one of its outlets or delivered.
“Coffee is a necessity for so many people, but not everyone has the time to go to a coffee shop, wait in line, then wait for their order, and then return to their workplace,” said Fore Coffee co-founder and CEO Robin Boe as quoted by DealStreet Asia, Thursday (11/4).
Fore Coffee has also partnered with Ovo and Go-Jek to facilitate the payment system and delivery for customers. (MS)
