JAKARTA - PT BNI Syariah targets the opening of an online account in the 4th quarter of 2019. Opening an online account is one of the strategies carried out by BNI Syariah to improve services in the digital era.
Through the opening of this online account, the community does not need to come to the branch office, to meet the needs of the community with a modern and mobile lifestyle. With the opening of accounts through online, people can enjoy Islamic banking services more productively and efficiently.
"The online account opening system is targeted to increase the acquisition of new customers by 150 accounts per day," said BNI Syariah Director of Finance and Operations, Wahyu Avianto, Thursday (18/4).
In addition to opening accounts, the services provided to customers at SCO include opening a savings account, opening a deposit, checking accounts and activating e-channel services (Mobile banking, internet banking, sms banking), and applying for a BNI IB Hasanah Card financing card.
As an illustration, until the end of 2018, the number of BNI Syariah customers was 3 million. As of December 2018, BNI Syariah Deposits reached Rp 35.50 Trillion or grew by 20.82% (yoy), higher than industry growth of 11.6%. The composition of Third Party Funds is dominated by low-cost funds (Deposits and Savings) which reached 55.82%. (LM)
