KPK searches Adhi Karya office in relation to IPDN project corruption case

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission’s (KPK) investigation team is searching PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk’s (ADHI) office in relation to the alleged corruption in the Local Government Institute’s (IPDN) North Sulawesi campus development in Minahasa Regency.

KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said the searching had been taking place at ADHI’s Makassar office since this morning, Monday (29/4). In the searching KPK has secured evidence related to the development of IPDN’s Minahasa campus.

“A number of project documents and electronic evidence have been secured,” said Mr Diansyah as quoted by Bisnis.com.

In the case KPK has named former Commitment Official at the Ministry of Home Affairs Dudy Jocom and Head of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk’s (WSKT) Division I Adi Wibowo as suspects in the alleged corruption of the development of IPDN’s campus in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi in the 2011 budget year.

Mr Jocom has also been named as a suspect in the corruption of the development of IPDN’s campus in Minahasa, North Sulawesi along with Head of ADHI Construction Division I Dono Purwoko in the 2011 budget year. (MS)
