JAKARTA - PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk (NISP) recorded a brilliant performance in the first quarter of 2019. At the end of March 2019, the Bank posted a net profit of Rp 765 billion, up by 15% from the same period last year of Rp 663 billion.
Third party funds grew by 8% from Rp 121.1 trillion in the first quarter of 2018 to Rp 130.5 trillion at the end of the first quarter of 2019. In addition, gross credit grew by 6% to Rp 117.5 trillion at the end of the first quarter of 2019 from Rp 110.7 trillion in the first quarter of 2018.
"In 2019, Bank OCBC NISP believes that the banking industry continues to record positive growth. In accordance with Bank Indonesia's projections, the banking industry is estimated to be able to record credit growth of 10-12%, while growth in bank deposits is 8-10% with adequate liquidity maintained.
