JAKARTA. PT Bentoel Internasional Investama Tbk (RMBA) recorded revenue of Rp 5.04 trillion in the first quarter (Q1) of 2019, 10.04% higher than its revenue at Q1 2018 (Rp 4.58 trillion). However, the very high cost of goods has caused the cigarette company to record net loss of Rp. 83.29 billion.
The company's loss this year was 203% lower compared to the loss experienced by the company last year (Rp. 252.39 billion).
RMBA's financial report revealed that RMBA recorded an increase in cost of revenue of 2.37% on an annual basis (YoY) to Rp 4.31 trillion.
Finally, RMBA's total assets was recorded at Rp 15.66 trillion, 5.25% higher than in 31 December 2018 (Rp 14.87 trillion). (AM/AR)
