JAKARTA - PT Tiphone Mobile Indonesia Tbk (TELE) aims to generate Rp 30 trillion in revenue by the end of 2019, higher than its revenue in 2018 (Rp 29.3 trillion). The main contributors to the company's revenue are vouchers and SIM cards.
Based on the company's annual report in 2018, management expects that the sale of vouchers and SIM cards will increase, with the increasing number of smartphone products released. In 2018, the voucher and SIM card segments contributed 74% of the company's revenue (Rp. 29.3 trillion). Vouchers and SIM card sales in 2018 rose by 5.3% compared to 2017.
The company is optimistic that it can achieve its revenue target, with stronger customer purchasing power. At present, the company controls around 20% of Telkomsel's sales.
In December 2018, the company recorded a profit before tax of Rp 610.2 billion, 8.7% higher than in 2017 (Rp 561.2 billion). (LK/AR)
