JAKARTA. PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (ROTI) managed to generate Rp 64.8 billion in net profit in the first quarter (Q1) this year, growing 123% on an annual basis (YoY).
Sri Mulyana, Corporate Secretary of ROTI, said that the growth was supported by the company's sales performance which reached Rp 791.7 billion during Q1 2019. Sales of fresh bread products contributed Rp 572.31 billion or 72.29% of the sales, followed by sweet bread products (Rp 307.98 billion or 38.8%), and cake products (Rp.32.822 billion or 4.14%).
Most of ROTI's sales are in the central region (Bekasi, Cikande, Purwakarta, and Semarang), reaching Rp. 472.15 billion or 59.63% of total sales. Sales in the eastern region (Balikpapan, Gresik, Makassar and Pasuruan) reached Rp 204.69 billion or 25.85% of total sales. (KR/AR)
