JAKARTA. PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (ROTI) will build as many as 4 to 6 new factories this year, after obtaining the approval from the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) on Wednesday (8/5).
Stephen Orlando, Public Relations of ROTI, said that the construction of the new factories would be carried out in a number of areas. ROTI will use the funds from the rights issue in 2017 to build a number of new factories. "The EGM has agreed to change the use of public offering funds to plan for the development of new facilities," Orlando said on Wednesday (8/5) today to idnfinancials.com.
The addition of a number of new factories will increase ROTI's production capacity. Even so, Orlando did not answer how much additional capacity the company would obtain with the new factories.
ROTI also does not mention how much funding is needed for the construction of 4-6 new factories. But as of January, ROTI still has Rp 1.03 trillion of its rights issue funds. (KR/AR)
