JAKARTA - PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM) managed to record a revenue increase of 91.2% year on year (yoy) to Rp 293.9 billion in 2018.
MD Pictures President Director Manoj Punjabi said the largest contributors to the company’s revenue were the cinema and digital segments. The company also recorded gross profit growth of 106.3% yoy to Rp 221.5 billion and net profit growth of 79.1% yoy to Rp 109.1 billion.
“Overall, FILM has released 11 films including Danur 2 and Asih, with nearly 10 million viewers,” said Mr Punjabi as quoted by Bisnis.com, Wednesday (8/5).
MD Pictures’ total asset value in 2018 jumped 585.7% yoy to Rp 1.4 trillion, while liabilities fell 32.9% to Rp 36.9 billion. Meanwhile, equity grew sharply by 818.4% to Rp 1.3 trillion.
