Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna appoints 3 new directors

JAKARTA. PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) has appointed 3 new directors, Fransisca Rahardja, Sharmen Karthigasu, and Guillaume Popiol.

Nazrya Octora. External Communications Manager at HMSP, said that the appointment of the three new directors was done after the company's Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) on Thursday (9/5) in Jakarta. The 3 new directors will replace two directors who were transferred to the office of Philip Morris International (PMI) in Hong Kong.

"Rahardja will replace Mr Ingo Rose who was appointed as Commercial Vice President at the PMI Asia regional office," Octora said when met by IDNfinancials.com.

Karthigasu also replaced William Giff who had been transferred to North America. Meanwhile, Guillaume Popiol will replace Mr. Michael Scharer, who was appointed as Vice President of Eastern Europe & Asia Manufacturing PMI in Hong Kong.

In addition to appointing new directors, HMSP also added 2 new members to its Board of Commissioners, namely Paul Janelle and Lutfi Mardiansyah. (KR/AR)
