JAKARTA - PT SMR Utama Tbk (SMRU) has earned a new contract from Berau Coal located at Sambarata, East Kalimantan.
Ricky Kosasi, SMRU's Corporate Secretary said that the company and Berau Coal are currently in the drafting stage of the contract. "We hope the contract can be completed after Eid holiday," explained Ricky Kosasi to idnfinancials.com
For information, on February 14, 2019, SMRU was appointed as the contractor for mining activities in Blok B East (Pit C2H Utara), Sambarata Mine Operation of PT Berau Coal Energy Tbk (PTBC).
The total volume in this contract is 100 million bcm. The term of employment starts in the 2nd Semester of 2019 until the end of March in 2025. Ricky added that the results of this contract could be recorded as revenue in the third quarter of this year. (LM)
