JAKARTA - PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk (IMPC) has budgeted capital expenditure (capex) of Rp 188 billion for 2019. 50% of the capex is sourced from bank loans and leasing, with the remaining 50% sourced from the company’s internal cash.

IMPC Corporate Finance Chairul Kurniawan explained that Rp 140 billion of the capex will be used to purchase land and buildings. “In addition, Rp 34 billion will be used for machinery and equipment, Rp 6 billion for vehicles, and Rp 7 billion for office equipment and factories,” said Mr Kurniawan as quoted by Kontan.co.id, Thursday (23/5).

IMPC Director Janto Salim added that the company will increase the production capacity of one of its business segment, UPVC-Alderon roof. For that, the company plans to acquire four new machines.

According to Mr Salim, the UPVC-Alderon product has been developing rapidly this year and will continue to enjoy significant growth. A number of major projects involving Alderon include the development of a cowshed owned by dairy company Cimory with a width of 8,000 m2 and the Cilegon Stadium with a width of 3,500 m2.

“In 2018, the growth of Alderon sales in the retail sector reached 52%, and 49% in the project sector,” said Mr Salim. (MS)
