JAKARTA - Throughout 2018, PT Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (SMMT) recorded a positive financial performance. The company's net sales were recorded at Rp 190 billion, up by 230% on an annual basis.
"The achievement also lifted the company's net profit up to Rp 85 billion, more than double from the previous year's of Rp 40 billion. While the company's EBITDA increased by 108% from 2017 to Rp 145 billion," said Roza Permana Putra, President Director of SMMT in the public expose.
The increase in sales was supported by rising production volume from mines in South Sumatra by 234%. The total production volume of SMMT in 2018 was recorded to increase by 45% to 1.5 million tons.
For information, the composition of the company's domestic sales in 2018 was recorded at 618 thousand tons or 44% of total sales. This figure increased from the previous year by 376 thousand tons or 38% of the company's total sales volume. (LM)
