Hanson International posts Rp 109.82 billion marketing sales in Q1

JAKARTA - PT Hanson International Tbk (MYRX) recorded marketing sales of Rp 109.82 billion in the first quarter of 2019. The amount is 6.46% of the company’s 2019 marketing sales target of Rp 1.7 trillion, up 13% from last year’s target of Rp 1.5 trillion.

The marketing sales consisted of projects including Citra Maja Raya in Lebak, Banten worth Rp 57.45 billion; Forest Hills in Bogor, West Java worth Rp 37.16 billion; and Millennium City in Bogor, West Java worth Rp 15.21 billion.

In the Citra Maja Raya project, as of March 2019 MYRX managed to sell 17.000 simple houses for below Rp 200 million. For the long term, the company eyes the development of 2,600 hectares of land in the area.

As of Q1, the company had acquired 160 hectares of new land. “The land that has been acquired in 2018 so far is around our ongoing project in Maja,” said MYRX Head of Public Relations and Communications Dessy A. Putri as quoted by Kontan.co.id, Thursday (23/5).

For 2019, MYRX has budgeted capital expenditure (capex) of Rp 500 billion to Rp 1 trillion. The funds, which are sourced from the company’s internal cash and bond issuance, will be used for land acquisition by the parent company and subsidiaries. (MS)
