JAKARTA - PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) has prepared a capital expenditure (capex) of Rp 7.4 trillion for 2019. The capex will be used to encourage business expansion and pursue the company's revenue growth.
Of the total capex, around Rp 3.9 trillion will be allocated to PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP), then Rp 1.4 trillion for PT Bogasari Flour Mills, around Rp 1.9 trillion for the agribusiness line and the remaining Rp 200 billion for distribution.
Indofood Sukses Makmur's Finance Director Thomas Tjhie added, “For agribusiness, we still have plantations that need capex."
This year's capital expenditure comes from a combination of internal cash and bank loans. Regarding the bond issuance plan, Indofood decided to postpone it due to the current poor market conditions. (LM)
