KKP proposed an indicative ceiling of Rp 6.472 trillion for 2020

JAKARTA. The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) proposed an indicative ceiling for 2020 of Rp 6.472 trillion, higher than its budget for 2019 of Rp 5.483 trillion.

The proposal was given by the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti and his staff to the Commission IV of the House of Representatives in the DPR/MPR Building, Jakarta, on Tuesday (18/6).

"Based on a Joint Letter from the Minister of PPN / Head of Bappenas and Minister of Finance Number B-241 / M.PPN / D.8 / KU.01.01 / 04/2019 and S-338 / MK.02 / 2019 dated 29 April 2019, KKP indicative ceilings for 2020 is set at Rp 6.472 trillion," said Susi.

Of this amount, the Research and Human Resources Development Agency of KKP (BRSDMKP) will use Rp. 1.868 trillion. Directorate General of Marine and Fisheries Resources Surveillance (PSDKP), will use Rp 1.062 trillion.

The remaining funds will be used for Secretariat General (Sekjen) (Rp 523.62 billion), Directorate General (Dirjen) of Capture Fisheries (Rp 726.55 billion), Directorate General of Treasury (Rp 739.57 billion), Directorate General of Competitiveness Strengthening (Rp 366.01 billion),Directorate General of Marine Spatial Management (Rp. 507.85 billion), Inspector General (Rp 77.26 billion), and finally Fish Quarantine Inspection Agency (Rp 601.07 billion). 

The indicative ceiling of Rp. 6.472 trillion will be used to support KKP and its programs in 2020. (AM/AR)
