Passpod prepares five business strategies in 2019

JAKARTA - PT Yelooo Integra Datanet Tbk (YELO) at today's General Meeting of Shareholders (20/6) delivered five strategies that the company will implement in 2019. The company's five strategic focuses are to increase the choice of features in the application, expand marketing area, focus on digital activities marketing, exploring the latest softsim and esim technologies and entering the inbound tourism business

CEO of Passpod Hiro Whardana said, "From the various challenges that we have gone through in 2018, the focus of the Passpod business strategy in 2019 is to increase the choice of features in the application, expand the marketing area, and focus on increasing digital marketing activities. We are also exploring the latest soft sim and esim technologies and entering the inbound tourism business. We have prepared various new features and bundling offers for modem rentals and attraction ticket destinations to welcome various holiday momentum this year."

In terms of technology development, this year Passpod has added new features in the Passpod mobile application such as travel insurance, travel planning (itinerary planner) and e-commerce features on the Passpod.com portal. Currently the e-commerce feature has sold traveling deals, insurance, and various other travel support needs. Hiro also added that Passpod is conducting beta testing for the chatbot feature as a virtual assistant service for improving customer service. This chatbot feature is expected to be able to serve customers from the question and answer process to transactions on the Passpod platform for 7x24 hours.

In early 2019, as a business development, Passpod has collaborated with Tokopedia for official stores, then became an official partner in selling tickets to local attraction events from LOCETs, as well as establishing various partnerships such as airlines and other travel services for network marketing development. From business expansion plans targeted at Southeast Asian countries for inbound travel businesses, in Q1 2019 Passpod has made a joint venture with payment company WeePay to work on the outbound travel market in the Philippines.
