Wilmar Cahaya Indonesia aims to increase its sales by 5%

JAKARTA. PT Wilmar Cahaya Indonesia Tbk will explore the markets in the SME sector, by entering traditional markets, to pursue performance growth of 5% this year.

"We are not selling finished goods, but we sell raw materials, so we will continue to look for new customers," said Hairuddin Halim, Director of PT Wilmar Cahaya Indonesia Tbk, on Tuesday (25/6).

This year, Wilmar Cahaya also intends to synergize with other companies under the umbrella of the Wilmar International Limited Group. Collaboration with affiliated companies includes the purchase or sale of raw materials, auxiliary materials and derivative products.

Wilmar Cahaya manufactures vegetable oils and specialty vegetable oils (MNS). The company, which uses CEKA stock code on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) uses crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel as its raw materials.

Last year, CEKA's net sales reached Rp 3.63 trillion. With a target of 5% growth, its net sales will be Rp 3.81 trillion. (AM/AR)
