SSIA plans to acquire 160 hectares of land in Subang

JAKARTA - PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA) plans to acquire new land in the Subang area, West Java.

"This year, we want to acquire around 150-160 hectares," said Herlina Budiman, SSIA Head of Investor Relations.

For information, at the end of 2018, SSIA total land bank was 1,053 hectares. With the target of acquiring 160 hectares, then SSIA landbanks will be 1,213 hectares.

SSIA will continue to focus on the Subang region. For the first phase of Subang City of Industry covering 250 hectares, the company needs funds of around Rp 1.7 trillion, including land acquisition. Phase 1 of this project is targeted to be completed in the third or fourth quarter of 2020.

The company estimates that there will be 25-30 companies in the first phase of the project, considering that some of areas are residential areas. The majority of companies interested in opening factories in Subang City of Industry are from the FMCG sector. (LM)
