JAKARTA - Shareholders of PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk (SMDR) have agreed to distribute cash dividends for fiscal year 2018 of Rp 16 per share. This amount is equivalent to a dividend payout ratio of 50% or Rp 52.4 billion.
For information, last year Samudera Indonesia managed to record profits of US$ 7.3 million. Dividend payments will also be made on July 24, 2019.
Whereas in the first quarter of 2019, Samudera Indonesia recorded revenues of US$ 103.7 million, down from the previous year of US$ 107.8 million. This also made the company's net profit dropped dramatically to US$ 0.2 million, compared to the previous year of US$ 1.7 million.
"There is a decline of around 4%, but we still see changes that will occur in April. There are several transactions in March and April," explained Bani M Mulia, Director of Samudera Indonesia during public expose. (LM)
