Citilink Indonesia officially moves flight operations from Bandung to Kertajati

CENGKARENG - Low cost carrier (LCC) Citilink Indonesia officially moves several domestic flight routes from Husein Sastranegara Airport, Bandung to Kertajati Airport, Majalengka starting from Monday (1/7).

The QG 820 Surabaya - Kertajati route becomes the first flight of Citilink Indonesia to be transferred to the Kertajati Airport and take off from Kertajati Airport at 6:40 a.m. WIB.

"Citilink Indonesia has prepared intensively and coordinated with stakeholders to ensure that flight service operations can take place smoothly, safely and comfortably," said VP Corporate Secretary & CSR Resty Kusandarina in Cengkareng, Monday (1/7).

Citilink Indonesia has socialized the transfer of this route to all passengers through the website, social media, e-mail, call center and SMS so that prospective passengers have been well informed.

Resty hopes that in the future, the development of infrastructure facilities, especially related to passenger access to and from Kertajati Airport, can be continuously optimized, so that it will provide convenience for passenger mobilization 

The route which was transferred by Citilink Indonesia to Kertajati Airport is a route that uses Airbus A320 aircraft, including Surabaya, Denpasar, Medan, Palembang and Pekanbaru. While for Citilink Indonesia flights that use ATR 72-600 aircraft will continue to operate at Husein Sastranegara Airport, Bandung.

On the same occasion, Citilink Indonesia expanded its flight network by opening a new route from Husein Sastranegara Airport to Yogyakarta as well as Tanjung Karang, as well as increasing the frequency of flights to Jakarta - Halim Perdanakusuma by using ATR 72-600 aircraft. Furthermore, Citilink Indonesia also plans to open a new route from Bandung to Solo. (LM)
