JAKARTA - PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (MIDI), a retail company, expanded its business line by establishing a new joint venture called PT Sumber Trijaya Lestari with PT Kita Indonesia Pluss, an online insurance platform.
Based on the company's information disclosure, Sumber Alfaria has a 99.9% stake in PT Sumber Trijaya Lestari (STL). Through STL, the company made a capital investment of Rp. 14 billion or 14.28% in Kita Indonesia Plus.
By investing and joining Kita Indonesia, Sumber Alfaria wants to get investment opportunities, besides selling its insurance products through Alfamart outlets network throughout Indonesia. (LK/AR)
