JAKARTA. PT Hensel Davest Indonesia Tbk (HDIT), a fintech company, is optimistic that it will record 100% profit growth this year
Director of HDIT, Hendra David, expressed his optimism because until now, merchant acquisition, revenue and profit had been in line with expectations. "The latest data shows that at the beginning of July 2019, we have successfully acquired 220,000 MSME merchants, which means it has fulfilled 74% of the target set at the beginning of the year," Hendra said at a press conference on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), on Friday (12/7).
On 12 June 2019, the number of HDIT agents was 150,000, so this month the company managed to add 70,000 new agents. By the end of 2019, Hendra aims to record 300,000 agents.
With the addition of new agents, Hendra expects its revenue and profit to grow by 100%. It means that the targeted revenue is Rp 10 trillion, while the targeted net profit is Rp 23 billion.
Hendra said in June 2019, Davest had recorded a profit growth of 105% year to date (ytd) to Rp. 8.3 billion. In July 2019 HDIT managed to obtain Rp 6 trillion in revenue. (AM/AR)
