JAKARTA - PT Bekasi Fajar Industrial Estate Tbk (BEST) will soon realize the sale of its landbank to a battery company from China.
Head of Investor Relations at BEST, Seri, said that despite such a plan, the company haven't announced it to the public yet. "It's true that there is a battery company that will buy our land. But we have not been able to disclose because it is still very early. It's still in the exploratory stage, "said Seri.
At present, he continued, the sales plan is still being explored. "We will not open before the deal is done," Seri said on Monday (15/7/2019).
Previously, it was reported that BEST aims to sell 40 hectares of land in the remainder of this year, with a price of Rp 2.6 million to Rp 3.2 million per square meter.
This year, BEST prepares Rp 600 billion to acquire about 100 hectares of land. By purchasing the land, BEST aims to record growth of 15%. Last year, BEST recorded a revenue of Rp 962.8 billion. (ARM/AR)
