JAKARTA. PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk (GIAA) requested an extension of the deadline to submit its revised 2018 annual financial statements.
Previously, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) imposed sanctions on GIAA on 28 June 2019. OJK asked GIAA to revise its 2018 financial report and submit it no later than 14 days after that date. Deputy Capital Market Supervisor I Djustini Septiana confirmed the request for the extension.
"Yes. OJK agreed to give an extension to prepare the revised financial statements for another 14 days, or 28 July 2019," she said when contacted by Kontan.co.id on Monday (15/7).
According to Djustini, GIAA requested an extension because 14 days were not enough. Previously, the due date for the submission of the financial statement revision was on 12 July 2019.
Previously, the Ministry of Finance and OJK required GIAA to revise its 2018 financial statements after finding some irregularities. OJK also asked GIAA to conduct a public expose. (AM/AR)
