Indika Energy obtains US$ 150 million loan facility to repay its Bonds V

JAKARTA - PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY) obtained US$ 150 million loan facility from Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore), Citibank (Jakarta), and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BBMRI). The loan facility will be used to repay a portion of the company's Bonds V issued in 2013. The bonds itself has a total value of US$ 500 million with a guarantee of 6.375%.

As quoted from the disclosure of company information, the loan facility agreement was signed on 17 July 2019. The initial guarantor and arranger consist of Bank SC, Citibank NA, and Bank Mandiri.

The loan facility has a five-year period and will mature on 30 June 2024.

In connection with this plan, Indo Energy Finance II BV, a subsidiary of Indika, has announced the partial repayment of Bonds V on 17 July 2019. (LK/AR)
