JAKARTA - PT Medialoka Hermina Tbk (HEAL) seeks to own and operate 40 hospitals by 2020. The expansion plan is prompted by the company’s positive performance in the first half of 2019.
“Currently the company owns 32 hospitals, and plans to operate four more this year,” Hermina Investor Relations Janet Kurniawan told Kontan.co.id, Sunday (28/7).
Ms Kurniawan added that this year Hermina plans to build three new hospitals and acquire one hospital in Pekalongan, Central Java. The three new hospitals are targeted to commence operations by the end of the year.
For this year, Hermina has budgeted capital expenditure (capex) of Rp 800 billion. As of H1, said Ms Kurniawan, the company has absorbed Rp 288.4 billion of the budgeted capex for investments, maintenance, and organic and inorganic expansions. (MS)
