Adira Finance only achieved 45.5% of its new financing target in 1H 2019

JAKARTA. By the end of June 2019, PT Adira Dinamika Multifinance Tbk (ADMF) only recorded Rp 19.1 trillion of new financing, 45.5% of the target set by the company at the beginning of this year, which was Rp 42 trillion.

Hafid Hadeli, President Director of ADMF, said that the realization of new financing in the semester was influenced by the sluggish sales of new cars. So the company only relies on new motorbikes, used motorcycles and used cars. "The negative one is financing for a new car," Hadeli said when met by idnfinancials.com on Monday (29/7) today.

Hadeli admitted that in March, the company had made new financing target of Rp 42 trillion. This is influenced by the expectations of the car industry in Indonesia, which states that sales of new cars this year will grow by 5%. "When we said Rp. 42 trillion earlier, the association said it would grow by 5% (sales of new cars)," Hadeli explained.

Therefore, Hadeli said that the company will depend on the realization of new car sales in the second half of this year. Even if the trend of new car sales in the second half of this year is still down, said Hadeli, the company is optimistic that it can achieve its new financing target of Rp 40 trillion by the end of the year.
