JAKARTA - PT Eagle High Plantation Tbk (BWPT), a palm oil manufacturer, is planning to establish five new Crude Palm Oil (CPO) plants. Within the next three years, the company will build two CPO plants in East Kalimantan.
As quoted from the company's public exposure sheet, management stated that the production capacity of the two new plants would reach 60 tonnes per hour and 45 tonnes per hour respectively.
In 2018, BWPT's CPO production rose by 33% from 1.36 million tonnes to 1.8 million tonnes. In 2019, the production is expected to increase again to 1.9 million tonnes. (LK/AR)
