JAKARTA - PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) managed to score a US$ 950,588 net profit in the first half of 2019. In the same period last year, the company had posted a US$ 10.06 million net loss.
Based on an official statement received by IDNFinancials.com on Wednesday (31/7), BRMS will commence production from its gold mine in Palu, Central Sulawesi by the fourth quarter of 2019. The company will also continue exploring opportunities to increase production from its copper mine in Gorontalo.
In addition, BRMS is also completing infrastructure works for a zinc and lead mine in Dairi, North Sumatra which will be co-run with NFC China starting from 2021.
As of 1H, the company’s liquidity ratio remains strong with debt to equity ratio of 0.17x. (MS)
