JAKARTA - PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT) recorded a profit growth of 83.46% year on year (yoy) to Rp 411.32 billion in the first semester of 2019. In addition, the company’s revenue also hiked 10.19% yoy to Rp 36.16 trillion.
The positive performance is attributed to AMRT’s more selective outlet expansion throughout 1H. The strategy has proven to have boosted the company’s performance.
“We have been more selective in expanding our outlets. Only well-performing outlets are maintained, because otherwise there would be an extra cost,” AMRT Corporate Affairs Director Solihin told Kontan.co.id, Rabu (7/8).
For this year, the company targets 10% growth with a total of 14,000 outlets across Indonesia, including new locations outside Java. (MS)
