JAKARTA. PT Aneka Gas Industri Tbk (AGII) recorded a net sales growth of 11.4% to Rp 1.05 trillion in the first half of this year, from Rp 944.73 billion in the same semester last year.
In its semi-annual financial statements, AGII said that the growth was followed by a 10% increase in net profit. In the first half of this year, the company recorded a net profit of Rp 44.02 billion, while in the same period of the previous year it was only Rp 40.4 billion.
The sales of AGII's services and equipment during the first semester of this year was not so good, since it decreased by 18.52% year on year to Rp 81.32 billion. Nevertheless, sales were boosted by the gas product segment, which rose by 14.5% to Rp 971.2 billion.
In the period of January-June 2019, AGII's net profit margin decreased slightly to 4.34%. In the same period of last year, the company's net profit margin was still at 5%. (KR/AR)
