JAKARTA - PT Tiphone Mobile Indonesia Tbk (TELE) generated Rp 170.42 billion in profit in the first half of 2019, lower than its record in the same period of last year of Rp 301.64 billion, mainly due to lower revenue.
Based on the company's financial statements, Tiphone generated Rp 12.56 trillion in revenue in the first half of 2019, lower than Rp 14.12 trillion recorded in the same period of 2018. The biggest contributor to the company's revenue were vouchers and SIM cards (Rp 9.29 trillion), mobile phone sales (Rp.3.25 trillion), and aftersales services (Rp.3.49 billion).
Tiphone recorded a gross profit of Rp. 727.18 billion, operating profit of Rp. 416.88 billion, and comprehensive income of Rp 215.78 billion in the first half of 2019. (LK/AR)
