JAKARTA - PT Bank Pembangunan Jawa Timur Tbk (BJTM) managed to record a brilliant performance in the first semester of this year. BJTM posted assets in the first semester of Rp 68.95 trillion. This achievement grew 15.81% from the same period last year.
The company's net profit also grew 7.67% yoy to Rp 816.42 billion. This performance was supported by third party funds which grew 17% to Rp 56.93 trillion. As an information, growth in third party funds is dominated by deposits, savings and current accounts.
Loans also grew 8.25% to Rp 34.77 trillion with the highest contributor from the consumption segment which grew 4.33% to Rp 21.37 trillion.
For information, BJTM's return on equity was recorded at 21.30%, with a net interest margin at 6.30%. Bank Jatim BOPO ratio was also recorded at 63.46%. (LM)
