Bank Jatim sells its NPL to Indosurya

JAKARTA - PT BPD Jatim sells its non performing loan (NPL) of 3.16% of total loan disbursement in the first semester of 2019 at Rp 34.36 trillion. 

Hadi Susanto, President Director of PT Bank Jatim Tbk said the company has conducted due diligence to offer NPL to PT Indosurya. "Our team has met PT Indo Surya's team this week," he said in Jakarta.

Beside that, Bank Jatim also offer to sell ts NPL to the PT Perusahaan Pengelola Asset (Persero). Susanto hopes the due diligence process of the NPL can be executed smoothly in the next couple of weeks.

Based on the company's financial statement in the first semester of 2019, the company's NPL gross recorded was recorded at 3.16%, decreased from 4.79% in the same period last year. The NPL net at 0.67%, lower compared to last year’s of 0.70%, while the credit cost at 1.13%, or higher compared to 0.27% in 1H 2018.

Hower, Susanto did not disclose the value of NPL sales to the two companies due to the corporate action process is still ongoing. (LK)
