JAKARTA - PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY) repurchased US$ 215 million of total US$ 500 billion worth of notes issued by the company that will mature in 2023.
Adi Pramono, Corporate Secretary of PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY) said that the buyback price was set at 102.125% plus accrued interest. The repayment was done by Indo Energy Finance II BV on 16 August 2019.
Funds for the buyback of the notes were the company's internal cash and loan facility from banks. The company obtained a loan facility worth US$ 150 million from Standard Charetered Bank (Singapore), Citibank NA (Jakarta), and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) on 17 July 2019. (LK/AR)
