JAKARTA. PT Waskita Karya Tbk plans to sell the ownership of nine toll road sections. Two investors have expressed interest in purchasing five of them.
Finance Director of Waskita, Haris Gunawan, said that the nine toll road sections have been offered to investors since 2017. For the five toll roads sections that already has some interest from investors, Haris said that they are in the due diligence stage.
The 9 toll road sections offered to investors are Kanci-Pejagan, Pejagan-Pemalang, Pasuruan-Probolinggo, Semarang-Batang, Solo-Ngawi, Ngawi-Kertosono, tol di Sumatera, JMKT (Jasa Marga Kualanamu Tol), dan Becakayu.
When asked about the five toll road sections that already has some interest, Haris did not want to reveal more details. According to him, the names of toll will be disclosed after the due diligence process is completed.
Haris hopes that the two investors can really complete the process of purchasing the toll road sections. Because before, he said, there were also investors who made an offer but were not serious. (AM/AR)
