Jasa Marga operates 1,041-km toll road sections out of 1,200-km target

JAKARTA. PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) has operated 1,041 km of toll road sections as of the first half of 2019, out of this year's target of 1,200 km.

Jasa Marga CFO Donny Arsal added that going forward the company will still seek projects auctioned by the government as well as initiating the southern Java-Bali toll road. "We are still calculating the investment values of several sections in southern Java," said Mr Arsal on Wednesday (21/8).

Jasa Marga's projects targeted for completion this year are the Singosari-Malang section of the Pandaan-Malang toll road, the Jakarta-CIkampek II Elevated toll road, the Balikpapan-Samarinda toll road, part of the Cinere-Serpong tooll road, and the Serpong-Kunciran toll road.

Jasa Marga's toll road that commenced operations in 1H are the 9.26-km section VII (Sei Rampah-Tebing Tinggi) of the Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi toll road, the 30.6-km Pandaan-Singosari section of the Pandaan-Malang toll road, and the 1.6-km access to the Gempol-Pandaan toll road.

Furthermore, Jasa Marga said that the companyr emains focused on its primary business line as a toll road operator. From the segment, Jasa Marga records an average annual transaction of 4 billion transactions or around 44 million per day. (AM/MS)
