JAKARTA. PT Mahkota Group Tbk (MGRO), a Crude Palm Oil (CPO) producer, is still focused on marketing the products from its new plant in Dumai, Riau, which will soon be completed.
The plant, which is still being constructed, will later produce cooking oil with a production capacity of 1,500 tonnes per day, while the kernel crushing plant will produce 400 tonnes of palm kernel oil per day.
In addition, MGRO will increase its storage tank capacity by 20,000 metric tonnes. At present, the company has a total storage tank capacity of 76,000 metric tonnes.
Corporate Secretary of MGRO, Elvi, said that the factory would soon be finished. "So that until the end of 2019, we will still focus on marketing the products from the factory which will soon be completed," he said as quoted by Kontan.co.id on Tuesday (27/8).
According to Elvi, in addition to domestic sales, it also began exploring the export market. "With more downstream product line from the refinery plant, it will certainly increase the company's sales," he said. (AM/AR)
