JAKARTA. PT Wijaya Karya Bangunan Gedung Tbk (WEGE) or Wika Gedung got a contract for the construction of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) worth Rp 2 trillion.
JIS will be built by WIKA Gedung in a joint operation scheme (JO) with PT PP and Jaya Konstruksi. WIKA Gedung will be the leader with a 51% stake.
Corporate Secretary of WEGE, Bobby Kusuma, said that the contract value itself was Rp 4.08 trillion. Since WEGE has a 51% stake contract, his party will get Rp 2 trillion from the contract. "That is the project with the biggest contribution in 2019," he said as quoted by Kontan.co.id on Wednesday (28/8).
Quoting the company's financial statements, WEGE's revenue in the first semester of 2019 was Rp 2.15 trillion, lower than the record from the same period in 2018 of Rp 2.4 trillion. (AM/AR)
