JAKARTA. PT Jasamarga Balikpapan Samarinda (JBS), a subsidiary of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR), will begin operating the Balikpapan – Samarinda toll road by the end of 2019.
Subakti Syukur, Operations Director of JSMR, said the Balikpapan-Samarinda toll road will maximize transportation and logistics mobility between the two largest cities in East Kalimantan. "In terms of progress, toll road construction and land acquisition continue to be pushed so that we can operate on target," Syukur said in a press release on Thursday (29/8) today.
Syukur added, the progress of toll road construction has reached 96.83% and land acquisition progress has reached 99.33%. Later, the toll road will have a total length of 99.35 kilometers with four toll gates. (KR/AR)
